Students will need the following items each day: 

• A water bottle, labeled with your child's name. Water refilling stations are available on campus. 

• A nutritious snack (all grades)

• A nutritious lunch (for students in grades 2-8)

• Sunscreen (applied before school)

• Bug spray (applied before school)

We also recommend that students wear closed-toe shoes, as they participate in daily outdoor activities.

Car Nameplates
You will be provided a paper car nameplate with your student's name. Please be sure to place the nameplate on the interior dashboard so that is visible from the exterior of your vehicle for both school arrival and pick-up.

Arrival
Classes begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. each day. Student drop-off is between 8:15 - 8:25 a.m. Please remain in your cars, following the traffic flow/parking lot instructions listed below. School staff will greet students at the curb each morning. Upon arrival, students will proceed to our playground until classes begin. Students should not be dropped off before 8:15 a.m.

Dismissal
Our Jumpstart students (1st grade) dismiss at 12:00 noon each day from the front of the school with designated faculty and staff. Please remain in your cars, following the traffic flow/parking lot instructions listed below. Jumpstart students dismiss before lunch and aftercare is not available.

Summer Term students in grades 2-8 dismiss at 2:25 p.m. each day from the front of school with designated faculty and staff. Please note that students not picked up will be sent to aftercare beginning at 2:40 p.m. Aftercare services are available for a fee until 4:00 p.m.

Note: Please do not line up in the car line to pick up your Rawson Saunders student before 2:10 p.m. so that our neighboring preschool can dismiss their students safely. For any arrival before 2:10 p.m., please wait/park along McCullough (to the south of our parking lot). 
 

All traffic should enter our school parking from Exposition Blvd., not from McCullough. Please remain in your cars, following the traffic flow/parking lot instructions listed below. School staff will greet students at their car each morning, and dismiss students to their cars each afternoon

A Summer Term newsletter is emailed to parents each Friday during summer session with weekly updates from subject-area teachers. Parents will receive individualized weekly updates from their student’s ALT.

If you need to reach your child during the day, please call our office at (512) 476-8382 and we will make sure your child is able to connect with you. We do not allow students to text or make calls from personal devices during the school day.
