Welcome to the 2023-24 School Year!

Here are a list of check-list items to remember for your student each school day: 

► A refillable water bottle

► Lunch ordered in-advance from the school (Barnison Catering), or brought from home

► Nutritious snacks

► Fully-charged devices - iPads, laptops, and headphones

► Comfortable, closed-toed shoes for the playground and for participating in PE (grades 1-8)

The school day starts promptly at 7:55 a.m. with drop-off beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Dismissal times are staggered by grade level: 

• Grades 1-2: 2:45-2:55 p.m.
• Grade 3: 3:00-3:10 p.m.
• Grades 4-5: 3:15-3:25 p.m.
• Grades 6-8: 3:30-3:40 p.m.
• Grades 9-12: 2:45-2:55 p.m.

All students must be picked up no later than fifteen minutes after their dismissal time ends. After the fifteen minute grace period, parent accounts will be charged $1 per minute for the first 10 minutes and $5 per minute thereafter.

Our parent/student handbook is intended to serve as a guide to help students and their families come to know the programs and opportunities provided by Rawson Saunders as well as to set forth basic expectations and agreements. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the contents. We are hopeful that the handbook will answer many questions you may have about academics, rules, policies, and procedures. Click here to review. 

iPads are required for grades 1-8 and are automatically purchased, configured and issued to students by Rawson Saunders and are expected to last many years. Should a need for a replacement or repair occur, please contact our IT Manager, John Gordon.

Laptops are required for grades 9-12 and can be purchased anywhere but must meet certain criteria and have specific software installed.

All students should provide headphones that are compatible with their devices.

Do you need to purchase school supplies? No!  The only item that you will need to ensure your student has are headphones for their iPads. Rawson Saunders provides all school supplies to students.* New students will receive their iPads during the first week of school, and returning students will use their iPad from their previous year. *On occasion during the school year, middle school students will be asked to purchase a book. 

• Each school day, students should either bring a packed lunch, or pre-order a school lunch. 
• If you anticipate ordering a school lunch for your student, you will need to create a lunch account. Please visit the School lunch page for instructions. 
• There are no microwaves or refrigerators available on campus for students.
• No lunch deliveries from home or from outside vendors are allowed. 
• No sharing of food is allowed.

Every parent is automatically a member of the Rawson Saunders Parent Association. PA meetings are held several times a year.

The Rawson Saunders Fund is a fundraiser that Rawson Saunders launches each fall that provides critical support to our school that allows us to improve the Rawson Saunders experience by enhancing classrooms, upgrading technology, supporting special programs, fortifying security, and creating meaningful professional development opportunities for our faculty and staff.
