Honor Alexandra Headifen with a gift to the Alexandra Headifen Memorial Scholarship Fund

Alexandra Headifen, a beloved member of our Panther community, passed away Saturday, March 5, after a valiant journey with cancer. Alexandra was a member of our seventh-grade class and received her cancer diagnosis when she was a sixth grader at Rawson Saunders. Although she missed much of the last year due to treatment, she was a treasured member of our seventh-grade class and will be missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to know her.

Alexandra was a visible reminder of our school’s SUPERHEROIC core values. She returned to campus briefly in between chemotherapy treatments, wearing her hat and bringing her huge smile to her classmates and teachers. She reminded all of us to be grateful for the simple pleasure of spending a regular day on-campus and surrounded by fellow students and educators. We will carry memories of her megawatt smile as she shared time with her friends.

We will miss her, and the entire Rawson Saunders community  joins her parents, Vanessa and Grant, in grief.

Alexandra Headifen. A life well-lived and an inspiration to all of us.
