Middle School Science Teacher | '24-'25 Academic School Year

Rawson Saunders is seeking a passionate, engaging, growth-oriented STEM teacher to join our team of phenomenal educators supporting the individual learning styles of our 7th and 8th grate students. Creativity, enthusiasm, curiosity, flexibility, a multi-sensory approach, a willingness to grow, and a passion for excellence in STEM education are essential attributes.

Job Description

  • Provide masterfully planned, engaging lessons to students
  • Understand and support the learning needs and instructional accommodations for each student  
  • Facilitate learning in a small group environment with positivity and care (class sizes of 8-10 students)
  • Communicate skillfully and consistently with students and their parents
  • Maintain communication with the administration and parents regarding each student's progress
  • Practice professionalism through collaborative work, reflection, inquiry and continuous improvement
  • Serve as an advisor to a grade-level group of 4-5 students
  • Meaningfully participate in monthly department and school meetings. 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience is desired
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

Academic Language Therapist (ALT) | '24-'25 Academic School Year

Rawson Saunders is seeking passionate, engaging, Academic Language Therapists to join our team of phenomenal educators for the 2024-25 school year. Part-time and full-time options are available. 

Please note that Rawson Saunders follows the Orton-Gillingham approach and that a bridge program is provided for ALTs trained in other curricula.
