Dungeons & Dragons: The Adventurers Guild (Grades 4-5)

Calling all young heroes! 🛡️✨ Step into a world of imagination, teamwork, and epic quests in Adventures of the Mystic Realms, our Dungeons & Dragons group for 4th and 5th graders. Whether you're a brave knight, a clever wizard, or a sneaky rogue, you’ll create a unique character and help shape the story as we journey through magical lands, battle mythical creatures, and solve puzzling mysteries. No experience? No problem! We'll teach you the basics of the game and guide you on your path to becoming a legendary adventurer. Gather your dice and let the adventure begin!

Scrapbook Studio (Grades 1-4)

Join us in our fun Scrapbook Studio! This is a special place for all 1st to 4th graders to get creative, play, and share their stories through scrapbooking. Each week, we’ll explore exciting themes and try out stickers, glitter, colorful papers, stamps, and so much more! Get ready to cut, paste, and decorate your pages with lots of fun materials. Create unique designs to celebrate and cherish your favorite memories with family and friends. Bring your scrapbook and printed photos to the first session, and we’ll provide all other supplies to make scrapbooks you will keep for a lifetime!

Skate Club (Grades 4-8)

Join us for Skate Club, open to students in grades 4–8! Whether your student loves skateboarding, rollerblading, roller skating, or riding a scooter, this club is a fun and active way to build skills, confidence, and community.

Students will meet after school on campus to practice skating safely, learn new techniques, and explore the history and culture of skating in the U.S. — from skateparks and roller rinks to music, fashion, and creative expression.

Important:

All students must bring their own equipment and wear a helmet (knee/elbow/wrist pads strongly recommended).
Parents/guardians will need to sign a consent and liability waiver acknowledging that skating involves physical activity and potential risk.
Supervision and safety instruction will be provided during each session.

Circus Smirkus (Grades 1-4)

May all Your Days Be Circus Days! Come Learn Circus skills like juggling, poi, diablo, rola bola, acrodance, and clowning. We will work on skills each day and then have a small performance for our friends and family at the end of the year.

Advanced Scrapbooking and Collage (Grades 4-8)

Enhance your creativity in our Advanced Scrapbooking and Collage club! Designed for 4th through 8th graders, this after-school program explores artistic storytelling through scrapbooking and mixed-media collage. Each week, you’ll learn new techniques such as layering, texture, and creative composition, using a variety of materials including patterned papers, fabric, ephemera, and more. Bring photos, memorabilia, and ideas to create meaningful, personalized pages and unique collage art that showcase your favorite memories and interests. Students should bring a scrapbook or journal of their choice and a selection of printed photos or keepsakes to the first session. All other supplies and materials will be provided.

Fun French Art Club (Grades 1-5)

Fun French! Learning a new language can be exciting and fun! This fun after-school club will use art projects to introduce simple vocabulary, leading to basic French conversation. Children will play games, create art pieces they'll be proud of, and learn fun, French facts while immersing themselves in a variety of art techniques.

Creative Crafting (Grades 1-8)

An exciting after-school program where creativity knows no bounds! Students will explore a variety of hands-on projects, from making unique jewelry and clay art to making slime and upcycling thrifted materials into brand-new objects. All things crafting is a passion of mine and I would love to share it with students!

Intro to Percussion (Grades 1-8)

Intro to Percussion is a fun, hands-on class where students get to play drums and rhythm instruments from around the world. They will explore musical traditions from Africa, Latin America, Asia, and beyond while learning the basics of rhythm, coordination, and teamwork. Each week offers new instruments and styles to discover, from shakers and hand drums to boomwhackers and mallet percussion. No prior experience is needed, just a love for music and a willingness to make some noise.

Robotics: Engineering Marvels (Grades 3-5)

Calling all robot builders, creature creators, and future engineers! Dive into the wild world of robotic creatures in this action-packed Robotics Club for 3rd–5th graders. Get ready to design and build amazing mechanical animals with arms that grab, lift, and move like never before! Your challenge? Craft clever creatures that can pick up objects, complete fun missions, and even go head-to-head in friendly bot battles.

With teamwork, creativity, and a dash of imagination, you’ll bring your robotic beasts to life—whether it’s a claw-snatching crab, a trunk-lifting elephant, or your own wacky invention! No experience needed—just bring your curiosity, and let’s build creatures that grab, stretch, and rule the robotics jungle!

Welcome to the Connections Club — where making friends is fun and learning to be your best self is the adventure! Participants will discover that healthy connections start with self-love and kindness. Through playful games, interactive activities, and crafty journaling, they will explore how to manage their emotions, set healthy boundaries, resolve conflicts peacefully, and collaborate as a team. Explore how to make healthy connections through building confidence, empathy, and friendship skills in a joyful, supportive space — all while having a blast with new and old friends.

Strike up some fun with this year's RS Bowling Club! This is a great chance for middle school students to have fun and socialize on eight Friday afternoons this semester from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Passport to Japan (Grades 4-7)

In this club you will embark on an exciting journey through the traditions, art, and innovations of Japan. From anime and manga to tea ceremonies, calligraphy, and taiko drumming, you’ll dive into hands-on activities, games, and creative projects that bring Japan to life.

Regular aftercare is available to students for a fee until 5:30 p.m. each full school day (aftercare is not available on half days, holidays, or school breaks). The fee is $20/day for drop-ins and $15/day if scheduled and paid in advance by quarter or semester.
